Seeing McDavid over 0.5 assists at -135 for tonight's game vs Calgary, but Edmonton's powerplay has been brutal lately - just 14.7% conversion in their last 9 contests. That's down from their season average of 22.8%.
McDavid typically gets his assists on the man advantage, but if the powerplay keeps struggling like this, that prop looks overpriced. Calgary's penalty kill has also tightened up, allowing just 1 PP goal in their last 4 road games.
The line opened at -145 this morning and has already moved to -135, so there's some action on the over. But with Draisaitl still day-to-day with that upper body issue from Tuesday's practice, McDavid might not have his usual setup man on PP1.
